At ~2:39 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) as part of a 2nd alarm, to assist Monroeville VFC #4 for a report of a fire at the Monroeville Best Western Hotel. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (3 firefighters including Captain 20). Upon arriving at the scene, Monroeville Best Western Command positioned Truck 20 on the "B Side" of the structure, and the crew was prepared to extend the ladder to gain access to the roof of the hotel. Monroeville interior crews entered the structure and extinguished the fire before it caused much damage. Monroeville Best Western Command released Truck 20 once the fire was out. Truck 20 returned to service and station in Murrysville.
