At ~ 1:11 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a single vehicle collision near the intersection of William Penn Highway and School Road. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20. Engine 64 diverted from the Sloan School call to assist station 20. Westmorland 911 also dispatched Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One), and the Murrysville Police Department. Engine 64 was first on scene, and found a School Mini-Bus had run off the right eastbound lane into the scrub/tree bed of the Walgreen's Pharmacy Parking Lot. The Mini-Bus had no students on board, was not leaking any fluids, and the driver self-extracted from the vehicle. Rescue 20 and Engine 64 remained on scene to assist the Murrysville Police for traffic control until the vehicle was recovered. Command 20 returned all fire/rescue units to service and station once the vehicle recovery was complete.
