At ~ 11:31 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a 2-vehicle collision at the intersection of Old William Penn Highway and Andrews Drive. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 ( 3 firefighters). Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the Murrysville Police and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). The Murrysville Police had command of the scene upon Rescue 20's arrival, both operators were out of the vehicles being assessed by Station 610 EMS personnel, and the intersection was partially blocked by the vehicles. Rescue 20's crew remediated the debris and fluids leaking from the vehicles, and remained on scene until Gombach Towing recovered both vehicles. Once the vehicles were recovered, Rescue 20 returned to service and station.
