Residential Oven Fire - Penn Township

At ~11:16 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 9 (Level Green VFC) for a report of a residential oven fire. Station 20 responded with 5 firefighters (including Assistant Chief 20 and Lieutenant 20) going to the station to crew Truck 20. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to support Station 9: Station 7 (Paintertown VFC), Station 12 (North Irwin VFC), Station 63 (Claridge VFC), Station 86 (Trafford VFC), and Station 170 (Monroeville #4). Engine 9-2 was first on scene, with Chief 9 establishing command. Upon entry, it was found that the oven fire was out, and Command 9 returned all responding units except for Engine 9-2 and Quint 7. Truck 20 remained in station and in service.
