By Secretary Mike Cline
November 20, 2020

At ~ 10:38 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of a low hanging utility wire across McCloy Avenue. Station 20 responded with Squad 20 (2 firefighters including Assistant Chief 20), with Captain 20 going directly to the scene, and 2 additional firefighters on standby at the station. Squad 20 arrived on scene, Assistant Chief 20 established the command, and found that a cable television service line had broken at the pole, and was hanging low across the roadway. Rescue 20's crew removed the line from the roadway, and notified Westmoreland 911 to have COMCAST dispatch a repair crew to the site to repair the line. Command 20 returned Squad 20 to service and station.

Units: Squad 20
