At ~2:50 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 78 (Sardis VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm at a residence on Summer Ridge Court. Station 20 responded with 11 firefighters (including Assistant Chief 20) going to the station to crew Truck 20 and Engine 20, while Chief 20 went directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched Station 236 (Holiday Park VFC) and Station 183 (Renton VFC) to support Sardis VFC). Engine 78 was first on scene, Chief 78 established the command, and found no fire or smoke coming from the structure. Command 78 held the alarm to Station 78, and returned all other responding stations. Truck 20 and Engine 20 remained in station and in service.
