Residential Structure Fire - Wedgewood Drive-Penn Township

At ~ 22:37 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to support Station 63 (Claridge VFC) for a working residential structure fire on Wedgewood Drive in Penn Township. Station 20 responded with Engine 20 (4 firefighters including Assistant Chief 20 and Sergeant 20), and Rescue 20 (5 firefighters), with 1 firefighter manning the station. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional companies for the incident: Station 9 (Level Green), Station 7 (Paintertown), Station 106 (Grandview), Station 22 (Export), Station 30 (Delmont),Station 64 (White Valley), Station 87 (Harrison City), Station 112 (Jeanette), Station 78 (Sardis), Station 226 (Penn Township Rescue 6). Engine 20 and Rescue 20 arrived on scene, and were placed in a staging area. Command 63 returned all Station 20 units in order to provide standby fire/rescue coverage for the stations who had responded to the Wedgewood Drive Fire. Engine 20 and Rescue 20 returned to service and station.
