At ~7:20 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of a tree down on utility lines along Mayer Drive. Station 20 responded with 9 firefighters (including Assistant Chief 20 and Captain 20) going to the station to crew the apparatus, while 2 firefighters (including Sergeant 20) went directly to the scene. Sergeant 20 was first on scene, established the command, and found that a tree limb had fallen onto the electric lines. Command 20 relayed the Utility Pole Number to Westmoreland 911 so West Penn Power could send a crew to the scene to remove the tree limb from the electric line. No additional fire/rescue services were needed at the scene, and Command 20 returned Station 20 to service.
