At ~ 7:38 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 64 (White Valley VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at Brookdale on Old William Penn Highway. Station 20 responded with 7 firefighters (including Assistant Chief 20 and Captain 20) gonig to the stations to crew Truck 20, while Chief 20 went directly to the scene. Chief 64 arrive on scene, established the command, found no smoke or fire coming from the structure, and upon entry found that the structure's AFA System had a false activation. Command 64 held the incident to Station 64, and returned Station 20. Truck 20 remained in service and station.
