September 1, 2025
During the month of August, the firefighters of the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company (Station 20) responded to 51 Fire/Rescue Calls within its Primary and Mutual Aid Areas of Responsibility. Thus, the company has answered 401 calls for the first 8 months of 2025. The company continued its 2025 Joint Training Program (with Export VFD [Station 22]) with a course of instruction (Engine Company Operations) which emphasized the use of the Engine in the extinguishment of Structure and Wild Land Fires, and the movement of water to support Truck Company Operations at Structure Fires. For the month of August, the 2025 Joint Training Program will continue with classes in preparation for Firefighter I Certification. The firefighters of the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company remain prepared to provide "First Responder" Fire/Rescue Services not only for the residents, businesses and organizations within the Murrysville-Export Area, but also for its Mutual Aid Response Areas.
