Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company - November 2025 Report

During the month of November, the firefighters of the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company (Station 20) responded to 40 Fire/Rescue Calls within its Primary and Mutual Aid Areas of Responsibility. Thus, the company has answered 518 calls to date during 2025. The company continued its 2025 Joint Training Program (with Export VFD [Station 22]) with a Night Structure Fire Burn at the Westmoreland County Fire School on 8 November, and new equipment training with its new suite of Battery Powered Rescue Tools on 19 November. Additionally, the company provided Truck 20 to assist the Franklin Regional Middle School Science Classes complete their Egg/Pumpkin Drop Experiments on 7 November. The Firefighters of the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company wish all a happy holiday season but also wants to remind everyone to take extra care while driving and participating in any outdoor activity due to the potentially hazardous winter weather conditions this time of year. The firefighters of the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company remain prepared to provide "First Responder" Fire/Rescue Services not only for the residents, businesses and organizations within the Murrysville-Export Area, but also for its Mutual Aid Response Areas.
