At ~10:42 PM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company) to assist Station 64 (White Valley Volunteer Fire Company) for a three vehicle accident at the Intersection of William Penn Highway and Harrison City Road. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (4 firefighters including Lieutenant 20), with 3 additional firefighters at Station 20 in case Engine 20 was required. Westmorland 911 also dispatched Station 87 (Harrison City Volunteer Fire Company, Rescue 87) for the incident. Upon arrival at the scene all passengers in the vehicles had self extricated, however there was a large amount of debris and some engine fluids on the roadway. Rescue 20 provided traffic control on William Penn Highway, while Station 64 firefighters cleared the scene of debris and remediated any hazardous fluids from the vehicles. Upon removal of the vehicles by local towing services, Chief 64 released Rescue 20 for return to station.
