Odor of Natural Gas in Residence - Logan Ferry Road

At ~9:01 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of natural gas in a home on Logan Ferry Road. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (3 firefighters), Engine 20 (2 firefighters), with 5 firefighters on standby at the station, and Assistant Chief 20 going directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following stations to support Station 20: Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 64 (White Valley VFC), Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One), and the Murrysville Police. Assistant Chief 20 was first on scene, established command, and found the homes occupants outside of the home. Engine 78, Truck 20, Engine 20, and Medic 614 arrived on scene. Command 20 returned all remaining enroute units, while firefighters entered the home and surveyed the interior with 4-Gas Meters, while Station 610 EMS assessed the home's occupants. No evidence of natural gas was found in the home, and Command 20 returned the home to the occupants. Command 20 returned all Fire/EMS units to service and station.
