During May 2025, the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company #1 (Station 20) answered 58 Fire/Rescue Calls for a year-to-date total of 243. With the higher-than-average rainfall for the month, the company answered numerous calls involving utility lines being taken down by falling trees. During the month, the company continued its joint training program with the Export Volunteer Fire Company (Station 22) concentrating on Pump and Drafting Operations. The Firefighters of the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company #1 remain ready to respond to fire/rescue calls within its primary and mutual aid response areas.
