At ~6:12 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of a vehicle collision at the Franklin Regional Middle School. Station 20 responded with 4 firefighters (including Lieutenant 20) going to the station to crew Rescue 20, while Squad 20 (Assistant Chief 20) went directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the Murrysville Police and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) for the incident. Squad 20, Medic 614, Support 610, several Murrysville Police units arrived on scene, and found no evidence of a vehicle collision. Command 20 held Rescue 20 in station, while the on scene units searched the school campus for the collision. No collision was found, and the Murrysville Police returned all Station 20 and Station 610 units to service. Rescue 20 remained in service and in station.
