At ~ 11:46 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at a home on Hills Church Road. Station 20 responded with 3 firefighters gong to the station to crew the apparatus, and Assistant Chief 20 going directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched Station 64 (White Valley VFC) to support Station 20. Assistant Chief 20 was first on scene, established the command, and found no smoke or fire coming from the structure. Upon investigation it was found that the home AFA System had a false activation. Command 20 returned all dispatched stations. All Station 20 units remained in station and in service.
