At ~4:04 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a 2-vehicle collision on William Penn Highway near Lillian Avenue. Station 20 responded with Rescue 20 (3 firefighters including Lieutenant 20), with 5 additional firefighters on station standby. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) and the Murrysville Police. Rescue 20 arrived on scene to find a car had collided with a motorcycle, the Murrysville Police were in command of the scene, and EMS from Medic 614 was assessing the motorcycle rider. The Murrysville Police released Rescue 20 as no fire/rescue services were needed at the scene. Rescue 20 returned to service and station.
