At ~ 2:52 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 64 (White Valley VFC) for a report of a rekindle of a house fire from the previous day on Sinan Drive. Station 20 responded with 8 firefighters (including Assistant Chief 20) going to the station to crew Truck 20 and Engine 20, while Chief 20 went directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched the following additional stations to assist Station 64: Station 22 (Export VFC), Station 78 (Sardis VFC), Station 30 (Delmont VFC), and Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One). Chief 20 was first on scene, established the initial command, confirmed that there was a minor rekindle, and relayed the situation to Chief 64 who was approaching. Command 64 held the incident to Station 64 and 78, and returned all additional responding stations. All Station 20 units remained in service and in station.
