At ~5:21 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of smoke in the vicinity of Bear Hollow Park. Station 20 responded with Engine 20 (5 firefighters), with Assistant Chief 20 going directly to the scene, and 4 firefighters on station standby. Assistant Chief 20 was first on scene, established the command, and found no evidence of fire in the vicinity of the park. Engine 20 and the Murrysville Police arrived on scene, and Command 20 had Engine 20 do an area search, and no evidence of fire was found. Command 20 returned Engine 20 to service and station.
