At ~11:09AM, Westmorland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company) to 3216 Watersedge Court for a residential automatic fire alarm. Station 20 responded with Truck 20 (4 firefighters including Lieutenant 20). Westmorland 911 also dispatched were Stations 64 (White Valley Volunteer Fire Company), Station 22 (Export Volunteer Fire Company) and Station 78 (Sardis Volunteer Fire Company). Upon Truck 20's arrival on scene, no fire showing, and upon survey of the scene found that a cooking pot on the stove had gone dry and smoked up the house. Lieutenant 20 cancelled all units still enroute to the scene. Station 20 personnel assisted the home owner in ventilating the home, and resetting the fire alarm. Lieutenant 20 released all units on scene and Truck 20 returned to station.
