Utility Line Down - Intersection of Roundtop and Pleasant Valley Roads

At ~9:00 AM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) for a report of a down utility line due to a wind storm near the intersection of Roundtop and Pleasant Valley Roads. Station 20 responded with 7 firefighters going to the station to man Engine 20 and Squad 20, with 2 firefighters (Assistant Chief 20 and Sergeant 20) going directly to the scene. Westmoreland 911 also dispatched Station 610 (Murrysville Medic One) for the incident. Sergeant 20 was first on scene, established the command, and found that the downed utility line was a cable television line, and was off the roadway. Command 20 determined that no fire/rescue services were needed at the scene, and requested that Westmoreland 911 have Comcast come to the scene to repair the break. Command 20 returned Station 20 service. Engine 20 and Squad 20 remained in service and in station.
