At ~2:44 PM, Westmoreland 911 dispatched Station 20 (Murrysville VFC) to assist Station 9 (Level Green VFC) for an Automatic Fire Alarm (AFA) at a home on Route 130 in Penn Township. An additional call reported smoke in the basement from a heater that had been on fire and was possibly out. Station 20 responded with 3 firefighters to crew Truck 20. Command 9 cancelled Truck 20 prior to departing the station. Truck 20 remained in service and in station.
