| Today at 10:20 hours the special call went out for Truck 20 to respond to Evans Road for an AFA coming from a Business which is located in the number 2 district. While the Truck was calling enroute, command was notified of a vehicle crash with injuries and a pole sheared on Old William Penn with the cross-street of Pinecrest Lane
Priority was placed on the crash with injured people and the Truck crew transferred over to the Rescue to respond. Crews found a pole sheared with the primaries still attached to their supports. The power company was notified and with the scene secured the Rescue rig was able to clear.
Shortly after clearing the previous incident the tones dropped at 11:28hrs for a vehicle over the embankment on Pleasant Valley Road near Lyons Run Road. The Rescue arrived to find that a vehicle had traveled well off of the roadway, through an old garage, over an embankment and into a tree sustaining moderate damage.
The occupants escaped with minor injuries and the scene was turned over to Murrysville PD, the Rescue cleared shortly after noon and was able to make the station house without further incident. |
